About Me
Here is Zelong Li.
I received my Bachelor’s in Computer Science and Technology at Tsinghua University in 2019, and I received my Ph.D. degree in Computer Science at Rutgers University in May 2024, advised by Prof. Yongfeng Zhang. Currently, I am working as an Applied Scientist in Amazon. Here is my CV.
I have over 15 years of coding experience. I wrote the LOGO language to get an award in a coding competition in 2007 as a fifth-grade primary school student. I started learning C++ in 2009 as a sixth-grade primary school student and later got multiple awards from high school coding competitions.

My main research topic in my Ph.D. career focuses on using Automated Machine Learning for Information Retrieval. In addition, I also explore Reinforcement Learning, Recommendation Foundation Models, Artificial Intelligence for Science Discovery, and Efficient and Explainable Artificial Intelligence.
